Bidders must submit bids in two covers, with the first containing documents like the UTR number and GST registration. The earnest money must be deposited online. Eligibility criteria include completing similar works in the past 7 years. The work must be completed within 112 days. A performance guarantee of 5% of the tendered amount is required. The tender validity is 90 days from the opening of the tenders. The contractor has to employ qualified engineer for the supervision of work at site.
The bid notice states he time allowed for carrying out the work will be 112 days from the date of start as de ned inschedule f or from the from date of allotment of above work, whichever is later, in accordance withthe phasing, if any, indicated in the tender documents.
The firm must have completed the similar works of following magnitude during last 7 years endinglast day of month previous to month of tendering. If the work was executed in private sector, the theproof of payment i. e. tds statement or form 26as also needs to be submitted alongwith thetechnical bid.
The government shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit 50 of the said earnest money as aforesaid and to forfeit the whole of the earnest money if the tenderer fails to submit the performance guarantee in the prescribed time after issue of letter of acceptance.
Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender.
