The payment terms are: 100 on the value of contract shall be paid after completion of the work including charging of the work liasioning with concerned electrical inspector subjected to availability of funds.
The contractor shall furnish a guarantee to the effect that all items of the work installed and supplied by him shall be free from any defect both in terms of materials and workmanship for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of the final completion of the work and commissioning during this period the contractor shall replace the defective materials, if any or rectify the defects, if any at his own cost as would be pointed out by the engineerincharge to the satisfaction of the later.
The tender accepting authority will finalize the tender through a transparent lottery system, where all bidders their authorized representatives, the concerned seexecutive engineer of concerned division and dao will remain present if more than one bid is quoted at **** decimal up to two numbers will be taken for all practical purposes either at the estimated cost put to tender or less than the estimated cost put to tender.
Valid electrical contractor registered as h. t under electrical license board of odisha, govt. of odisha and contractors of equivalent grade class registered with central government cpwd, imes, or relevant class of other licensing authorities are required to participate.
In the event of delay in supply erection, testing and commissioning of the materials with work pertaining to order, penalty @percent on the estimated cost per day of delay will be imposed subject to a maximum of 10 ten percent of the estimated cost.
Bidders are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as to the nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.
