Bidders must visit the site and study the job content, facilities, materials, site conditions, and consult the office for clarifications. The tender is an e-tender submitted online through the eprocurement site. Bidders must submit their offer online only in the eprocurement platform. Offers are invited in two parts: technical and price bid. The technical bid must include earnest money deposit (EMD) and documentary evidence for claiming exemption. The tender is for the installation of thermal relief valves in an LPG pipeline at the Indane bottling plant in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Bidders must download tender documents from the IOCL e-tender website (www. ***. *. *). No EMD is required, but a bid security declaration is mandatory. The tender validity is 120 days from the technical bid opening date. Work completion is 90 days from the work order issuance. Security deposit is 10% of the total contract value, excluding GST. Payment will be released after the defect liability period (12 months). Mandatory documents include PAN card, PF registration, GST registration, partnership deed, power of attorney, and undertaking. Reasons for rejection shall be disclosed on written representation by the concerned bidder whose bid is rejected. No bidder shall contact the owner on any matter relating to its bid from the time of the bid opening up to the time that the contract is awarded. Any effort by a bidder or bidders agent, consultant or representative, howsoever described to influence the owner in any way concerning scrutiny, consideration, evaluation or computation of the bids or decision concerning award of contract shall entail rejection of bid. Although ordinarily the lowest responsive bid amongst the bids submitted by bidders and considered by the owner as qualified and competent, shall be preferred, the owner reserves the right not to accept the lowest bid if, in its opinion, this would not be in interest of the works.
