The bid notice specifies a period of completion for each work item, ranging from 45 days to 12 months after actual date of physical completion.

The defect liability period is 12 months after the actual date of physical completion for both road and bridge works, and building works.

The bid notice states that the employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders of the grounds for the employers action.

For works above **** lacs, bidders must have completed similar nature of works at least 1/3 of the advertised cost as a prime contractor in any one work during the last five years, and achieved an average annual financial turnover of 30% of the advertised cost during any three out of the last five financial years.

The earnest money shall be forfeited if any bidder withdraws their bid during the validity period, fails to furnish the required performance security, or fails to execute the agreement within 28 days after fixation of contract.

The estimated cost for the first work item is **** lacs excluding GST and **** lacs including GST.
