Earnest money to be paid in the form of net banking or RTGS/NEFT from the e-procurement portal. The earnest money deposit shall be converted to security deposit at the time of execution of the agreement.

The contractor shall maintain the work for a period of 1 year from the date of successful completion to the entire satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge. Any defect found during this period shall be made good at the contractor's own cost.

General guidelines for award will be: i. Lowest rate quoted by the tenderer. ii. Maximum value of completed work/work order in supply of labour force by the tenderer in the last five years. iii. Performance of the tenderer in KMC for last five years, if any.

Intending tenders should produce credentials of similar nature of completed work of minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice, or 30% for two works, or 80% of a single running work.

If any defect damage is found during the warranty period, the contractor shall make the same good at his own cost. On failure to do so, penal action against the contractor will be imposed by the department as deemed fit.

The bidder is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid. The cost of visiting the site shall be at his own expense.

Any objection regarding prequalifying the agency should be lodged online to the chairman of the tender evaluation committee within 2 days from the date of publication of the list of qualified agencies.

If any credential or other paper is found incorrect, manufactured, or fabricated, the bidder would not be allowed to participate in the tender. Submission of false documents may lead to prosecution.

The estimated amount for the work is Rs. 2,64,742.

Auction material has to be removed within 7 days from the date of lifting order.

The earnest money will have to be submitted initially, as per enclosed sheet of this auction, in the form of online NEFT/RTGS through ICICI Bank gateway portal.

Evaluation of auction for deciding H1 bidder shall be done on the basis of total highest rates quoted for the auction.

Eligibility of contractors: Outside bonafide contractors having necessary credentials within last 5 five years. The auction inviting accepting authority will determine the eligibility of each bidder, the bidders shall have to meet all the minimum regarding financial capacity and experience credential.

If any bidder fails to produce the original hard copies of the documents especially completion certificates and audited balance sheets, or any other documents on demand of the executive engineer, kolkata south ii division, housing directorate within a specified time frame or if any deviation is detected in the hard copies from the uploaded soft copies or if there is any suppression, the bidder will be suspended from participating in the auctions on eauction platform for a 3 three years. In addition, his user id will be deactivated and earnest money deposit will stand forfeited.

The firm/agency must visit the actual site at office godown, office of the assistant engineer, howrah subdivision-i, housing directorate. 193, andul road housing estate and rhe lig baltikuri housing estate on **** to **** at **** a. m - 4. 00 p. m to have a realistic assessment of the quantity/volume of items to be shifted before quoting the price.

In case if there be any objection regarding prequalifying the agency that should be lodged to the executive engineer, kolkata south ii division, housing directorate within 2 days from the date of publication of list of qualified agencies and beyond that time schedule no objection will be entertained.

During the scrutiny, if it come to the auction inviting authority that the credential or any other paper found incorrect/manufactured/fabricated, that bidder would not allowed to participate in the auction and that application will be out rightly rejected without any prejudice.
