The work must be completed within **** months from the date of issue of LOI/allotment order, whichever is earlier, as stated: within the stipulated period of **** months from the date of issue of loiallotment order whichever is earlier.
Payments are released against bills vetted by the concerned AEE: 100 payment for operation and upkeep part of contract shall be released on monthlypro rata basis and 100 payment shall be released after completion of the repair works in full.
The defect liability period is twelve months from commissioning: the defect liability period of twelve months 12 months shall commence from the date of commissioning of the work.
The contract is awarded to the lowest bidder: allotment order shall be placed in favor of the overall lowest bidder in the boq.
Bidders must have average financial turnover not less than 60% of estimated cost and relevant experience: the average financial turnover of the firm shall not be less than 60 of the estimated cost.
Liquidated damages apply for delay: impose liquidated damages to a sum equivalent to 0. 5 half per cent of the prices of any portion of work works not executed, for each week or part thereof of delay with total not exceeding 10%.
Site visit is mandatory: the intending bidder must visit the site before quoting for the tender and site visit declaration on firms letter head undertaking as per enclosed format appendix iii with geotagged photographs required.
Clarifications must be sought before the last date of bidding: for clarification the bidder must approach the department well before the last date of bidding. no such correspondenceclarification requests shall be accepted after bid closing date.
Bids can be rejected for missing tender fee, pre-dated e-stamps, or false information: tenders not accompanied with the tender fee shall invite rejection of the bid out rightly and wrong and forged information furnished by the bidder shall invite cancellation of the bid.
