Tenders are invited for the construction of a jogging track in Sector 46 and Sector 45, Chandigarh. The estimated cost is Rs. 5,89,825 with a completion period of 3 months. Bidders must be enlisted with Municipal Corporation Chandigarh or equivalent. Eligibility criteria include financial turnover, profit/loss, and experience in similar works. Bids are to be submitted online through e-procurement. A performance guarantee of 5% of the estimated cost is required. The site is available. Disputes are subject to Chandigarh jurisdiction.
The period of completion for the work is 03 months from the date of start as defined in schedule f or from the first day of handing over of the site, whichever is later.
Payment on account of work done on the allotted rates shall be made to the contractor after deduction of security deposit @2. 50 and other charges etc. from running bills as well as the final bill of the contractor.
All the new installations should be guaranteed for a period of 12 months or for a more period as per manufacturers standards from the date of commissioning and completion of trial run period if any.
The competent authority on behalf of commissioner municipal corporation, chandigarh reserves to himself the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender and the tenderer shall be bound to perform the same at the rate quoted.
Eligibility criteria for post qualification of contractors include average annual financial turnover, positive profit/loss in more than two years, and successful completion of similar works during the last seven years.
In case of abnormally low bids, the bidder shall be required to submit additional performance guarantee. If the successful tenderer fails to submit hard copies of documents within seven days, the bid will be rejected.
The intending bidders/contractors are advised to inspect and examine the site its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders/bids as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable.
The firm/contractor shall be liable to be debarred for future tendering in municipal corporation Chandigarh if any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage.
The estimated cost put to tender is Rs. 5, 89, 825.
