The tender is for the supply of consumable materials for the manufacturing technology I at Government College of Engineering Srirangam. Bidders must have a local office in Tamil Nadu and not be blacklisted by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The tender is a two-stage bidding system (technical and financial). The technical bid should include self-attested scanned copies of necessary documents in . pdf format, including technical specifications, drawings, printed leaflets, and literature. The financial bid should be in . xls format, with rates inclusive of all charges. The quoted rates must be valid for three months after the deadline specified in the tender. The principal reserves the right to extend the date or cancel the tender, accept or reject any quotations, or not to purchase all or any of the items. The payment will be made only after receipt of the materials in good condition and commissioning of the equipment. All necessary documents must be uploaded with the bid. The contract shall be for the full quantity as described above. The bidder should quote the total price for each item inclusive of packing and forwarding, all duties, levies, insurance, installation, and any other charges. The rates quoted by the bidder shall be fixed for the duration of the contract and shall not be subject to adjustment on any account. The supplier shall provide such packing of the goods as is required to prevent their damage or deterioration during transit. The online bids shall be opened at the office of the principal, Government College of Engineering, Srirangam, on the given date and time. If the tender opening date happens to be on a holiday or non-working day, the tender opening process will be attended on the next working day at the same time and place. The Government College of Engineering Srirangam will evaluate and compare the quotations determined to be substantially responsive. The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered the lowest evaluated quotation price. The bidder whose bid is accepted will be notified of the award of contract by the GCE Srirangam prior to the expiration of the quotation validity period. Normal commercial warranty/guarantee shall be applicable to the supplied goods. The goods (both indigenous and imported) should be insured against loss or breakage during transit till destination. Upon delivery of goods, the supplier shall submit a supplier's invoice, insurance certificate, warranty certificate, or any other document. No advance payment will be made. The mode of payment will be through ECS to the supplier's bank account after the goods are received in good working condition in every aspect. The validity of your quotation should not be less than 90 days. The supplier shall give an acknowledgement of the purchase order within 3 days of the date of the purchase order. In case, the supplier fails to acknowledge the purchase order within the stipulated time, the institute is at liberty to cancel the purchase order. No alternations in tender excel forms shall be made by the bidder and if any such alteration is made, the tender is liable to be rejected. Demurrages and penalty, if any, paid by the supplier shall not be borne by the institute.
