50% of contract value paid as stage payment when 60% work is completed, next 30% when 100% work is completed, next 10% on submission of jointly accepted protocols, and balance 10% after completion of warranty period.
The contractor shall guarantee workmanship of overhauling and repair of equipment for a period of 90 days from the date of commissioning. If defects are found, they must be attended again without additional charges.
The whole work against this tender shall be awarded to a single firm whose overall quoted/equated prices are lowest for the complete package.
Bidder must be original equipment manufacturer or registered vendor of HPGCL for overhauling of RAH/PA/ID fans, or have executed similar works of 110 MW or above in thermal power plants with minimum order values as specified. Average annual turnover in last 3 financial years shall not be less than Rs. 70,19,869.
Penalty for delay will be imposed at 1% of total contract value per day or part thereof, subject to maximum of 10% of contract value.
