The work shall be completed within the time stipulated in the contract work order.

The running on account payments may be made once in a month or at intervals stipulated in the work order contract agreement.

The guarantor shall make good all defects and for that matter shall replace at his risk and cost such wooden member as may be damaged by termite and in case of any other defect being found, he shall render the building termite proof at his cost to the satisfaction of the engineerincharge.

The employer will award the contract to the bidder whose bid has been determined to be substantially responsive to the bidding documents and who has offered the lowest evaluated acceptable bid price.

The intending bidder must have in its name or proportionate share as a member of joint venture partnership firmexperience of having successfully completed similar works, during last 7seven years ending last day of monthprevious to the one in which bid applications are invited.

If the contractor fails to complete the work and clear the site on or before the date of completion or extended date of completion, he shall without prejudice to any other right or remedy available under the law to the company on account of such breach, pay as compensation liquidated damages: @half percent of the contract amountrevised contract amount excluding gst whichever is less, per week or part of the week of delay.

The bidder, at the bidders own responsibilities, cost and risk, is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings, approach road, soil condition, investigation report, existing works, if any, connected to the tendered work, drawings connected to the work, if as available and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid and entering into a contract for execution of the works.

The contractor shall immediately after the award of work draw up a schedule giving dates for submission ofsamples as required or necessary as per the specification for approval of engineerincharge who shall approve, if found acceptable, promptly so that there is no delay in the progress of the work of the contractor or of the workof any of the subcontractor.
