The bid notice states all supplied items are under warranty of 12 months from the date of successful acceptance of items.

The purchaser will award the supply to the bidder whose tender has been determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered the lowest evaluated tender price.

The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 45 fourty five days including monsoon period from the fifteenth day after the date of written orders to commence the work or from the first date of handing over of site, whichever is later, in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicated in the tender documents.

The contractor shall be responsible for the water proofness of the roof for one full monsoon season after the date of completion.

The competent authority on behalf of the president of india does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any other tender and reserves to himself the authority to any or all the tenders received without the assignment of a reason.

Contractors other than those registered with pwd, puducherry should produce definite proof from the appropriate authority, which shall be to the satisfaction of the competent authority of having satisfactorily completed similar works of magnitude specified below during the last 7 years ending previous day of last date of submission of tenders.

In case the contractor fails to deposit the said performance guarantee and additional performance guarantee, if any, within the period as indicated in schedule f, including the extended period if any, the earnest money deposited by the contractor shall be forfeited automatically without any notice to the contractor.

Intending tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender.

The cafeteria must commence operations within seven days from the date of communication of the tender approval.

The contract will be awarded to the successful evaluated bidder whose bid has been found to be responsive and who is eligible and qualified to perform the contract satisfactorily as per the terms and conditions incorporated in the bidding document.

The vendor/service provider should have an aggregate annual financial turnover of inr 50 lakhs from catering services during the last three years ending and in the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. Signed and scanned copy of audited or ca certified statement of accounts, documents for the past three years shall be duly submitted.

Penalties or contract termination may be enforced on the catering service provider for specified defaults or violations as detailed in the tender document.
