The tender invites online e-bids for preventive maintenance of snow clearance machines in Baramulla for the upcoming winter season **** must submit their offers in two covers: a technical cover and a financial cover. The tender fee is INR 200 and an earnest money deposit (EMD) of 2% of the advertised cost (INR 4,184) is required. The validity of the tender is 180 days. The successful bidder will have to execute the repair works within 10 days of the allotment order. Payment will be made 100% after satisfactory completion of the work. The contract will be valid for one year, starting from the date of allotment. The department reserves the right to cancel the tender in case of any extraordinary situation or default by the bidders.
The successful bidder shall have to execute the repair works installation jobs as per the allotment order within 10 days from the date of placement of allotment order.
Subject to fulfillment of contractual obligations and availability of funds, the payment to the firm shall be made 100% of the total cost of works allotted after the completion of works in full, in time and satisfactorily to concerned aee.
The defect liability period (DL) is 1 year and 1 month, counted from the date of successful completion of work.
The L1 bidder who fulfills all contractual obligations shall be bestowed with award of contract.
The bidder shall submit documentary proof of having successfully executed similar nature of eligibility work work amounting to 80% of the estimated cost in single contract or 50% of the estimated cost in 2 contracts each or 40% of the estimated cost in three contracts each in last 7 years in any certificate govt. semi govt. autonomous institutions alongwith satisfactory performance certificate issued by a competent authority not below the rank of assistant executive engineer.
The government shall, without prejudice to any other remedy available to it under law, besides forfeiture of security deposit, terminate the contract after thirty 15 days notice and/or recover the amount of losses caused by damages, failure or default, as may be determined by the government and/or impose a penalty up to a maximum limit of 10% of the value of contract for more than ten 10 days of delay in execution of works and/or the firm shall be blacklisted for future business with the department and shall be recommended for black listing within the state of jk.
The firm contractor shall visit the site before quoting the rates to ascertain compatibility conformity of specifications of equipment machines to be replaced repaired specific to already installed equipment machines at site.
The estimated cost of the work is INR 2,09,195.
