The bidder must have experience of having successfully completed overhauling jobs of boiler auxiliaries in PSU/joint venture of PSU/govt. department/public limited/reputed private sector company, during last seven 07 years of not less than 210 mw thermal power plants in India.

In case of failure to complete the job within the given time period, necessary L. D. will be deducted from contractors bill at the rate 0. 5 half percent/week basis of total L. S. contact value subject to maximum 5% of the L. S. contract value.

Bidders are requested to visit the site for assessment of the job before submission of the bid.

The deadline for submission of the techno-commercial bid is August 19, 2025, at 14:00 hrs. The deadline for submission of the price bid is also August 19, 2025, at 14:00 hrs.

Payment will be made within 90 days from the date of completion of works. If the stipulated time frame is not met, simple interest will be paid at the SBI 3-month MCLR rate for the delayed period beyond 90 days.

The tender will be evaluated strictly as per the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tender Act, **** and the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tender Rules, ****. The lowest tender will be accepted, other things being equal.

The bidder should have executed boiler pressure parts maintenance works in a single order value of more than Rs. 1. 80 lakhs within the past ten years in any public sector undertaking, state electricity boards, or any thermal power station of government organizations.

If the contractor fails to complete the work within the stipulated time, liquidated damages will be levied at half percent (0. 5%) of the contract price of the delayed portion for each completed week of delay, up to a maximum of 10% of the contract value of such portion of the work.

Any tenderer aggrieved by the order of the tender acceptance authority may prefer an appeal to the TNPGCL within 10 days from the date of receipt of order.
