The bid is for the maintenance of street lights and related electrical work in Delhi. The work must be completed within 60 days. The estimated cost is Rs. 17,57,**** must inspect the site. The payment terms are 70% after material supply, 20% after installation, and 10% after successful testing. A 5-year warranty is required for LED fittings. The bid submission deadline is January 6, 2026. The contractor must provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the bid amount. The contractor must also provide a valid electrical license or associate with a licensed contractor. The contractor must ensure the disbursement of wages through bank accounts.
The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 60 days from the date of start as defined in schedule f or from the first date of handing over of the site, whichever is later, in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicated in the bid documents.
The payment terms are: 70 of agreement rate against supply of material in good condition, 20 of agreement rate after installation, and 10 of agreement rate on successful testing commissioning and handing over to client.
The bid notice states that the contractor shall give five years warranty guarantee of the led fittings with driver of any manufacturing defects.
To become eligible for the bid, the bidders shall have to furnish an affidavit on stamp paper confirming that eligible similar workss hashave not been got executed through another contractor on back to back basis.
The contractor will be penalized at the rate as specified in the tender document if they fail to deploy the minimum number of staff workers mentioned.
Intending bidders are advised o inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their bids as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.
