The tender is for executing work of a 66 kV second circuit from 220 kV SS Dhanoula to 66 kV Aspal Kalan SC on DC tower line. Bidders must register with the e-procurement system. The tender value is Rs 20,83,721 without GST. The time allowed for completion of the work will be 6 months after the date of issue of letter of intent or allotment letter to the firm whichever is earlier. The offer shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of the tender. The rates to be quoted by bidders will be inclusive of all taxes except gst, which will be paid extra as applicable. The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender. The contractor shall give an undertaking attested by an executive magistrate that he/she shall be fully/solely responsible for any liability/penalty arising due to noncompliance of various laws/acts enforced.

Terms of payment: a ninety percent 90 payments against erection contracts shall be paid on erection by the contractor and measurements of works done by jeaee, certification of work done by sr. executive engineer on submission of relevant documents b the balance ten percent 10 of payment against erection contracts shall be released on successful commissioning of the works in the project, issuance of completion certificate of the project by the competent authority and asset tagging of the created asset in gis portal provided by the nodal agency.
If at any time during six 6 calendar months from the date of completion of work it shall appear to the addl. se sr. executive engineer or his subordinate incharge of the work that any work has been executed with unsound, imperfect or unskillful workmanship or with material of inferior quality or that any materials or articles provided by him for the execution of work are unsound or of a quality inferior to that contracted for or are otherwise not in accordance with the contract, it shall be lawful for addl. se sr. executive engineer to intimate this fact in writing to the contractor and then notwithstanding the fact that the work materials or articles complained of may have been inadvertently passed, certified and paid for, the contractor shall be bound forthwith to rectify, or remove or reconstruct the work so specified in whole or in part as the case may require or if so required shall remove the materials or articles at his own charge and cost, and in the event of his failing to do so within a period to be specified by the addl. se sr. executive engineer in the written intimation aforesaid the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at the rate of half12 percent on the amount of the work executed for every day not exceeding ten days during which the failure so continues and in the event of any such failure as aforesaid the addl. se sr. executive engineer may rectify or remove and reexecute the work or remove and replace the materials or articles complained of as the case may be, at the risk and expense in all respects of the contractor.
To qualify each bidder should meet the following eligibility criteria : i the bidders should have valid registration with central govt. state govt. pspclpstcl or any other govt. dept. , which must be valid on the date of opening of tenders as well as during the execution of work. those contractors who have experience of having successfully completed similar works in pspclpstcl and govt. semigovt. autonomous body of centralstate govt. electricity power utility power deptt. in india only and shall meet the minimum criteria in past 7 years up to last completed financial year will also be considered for ascertaining eligibility.
The work shall throughout the stipulated period of the contract be proceeded with all due diligence time being deemed to the essence of the contract on the part of the contractor and thecontractor shall pay as penalty an amount equal to one half percent 0. 50 of the estimated cost of thewhole work as shown in the contract for every week on the work remains unfinished after the contractcompletion period , provided always that the entire amount of compensation to be paid under theprovisions of this clause shall not exceed 10 ten percent of the estimated or actual cost of workwhichever is higher.
Before filling the tender, the site shall be visited by the representative of the firm and satisfy itself as to the conditions prevalent there especially regarding accessibility to the site, nature and extent of the ground, working conditions, stacking of materials, installation of tools and plants etc.
