If the contractor fails to commence andor maintain required prog ress viz. milestones defined in the notice inviting tender over the total time allotted for its full completion and in terms of clause 5 or fails to complete the work and clear the site on or before the end of contract period or extended date of completion, heshe shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available under the law on account of such breach, pay as agreed compensation to the implementing department.
Intending tenderders are required to inspect the site of the project with 8. general particular reference to location and infrastructure facilities.
Tenderder would be at liberty to point out any ambiguities, contradictions, omissions etc. seeking clarifications thereof or interpretation of any of the conditions of the tender documents before the tender inviting authority in writing 48 hours prior to pre tender meeting, beyond such period no representation in that behalf will be entertained by the tender inviting authority.
