The successful bidder will be selected based on the lowest rate (exclusive of GST). Progressive payment will be made after successful completion of the progressive job. 92% will be paid after successful completion of the progressive job, with the remaining 8% kept as a security deposit, which will be released after the guarantee period. Or 100% progressive payment will be made after successful completion of the progressive job, subject to submission and acceptance of a performance bank guarantee (SDBG) @10% of the work order value. The SDBG will be released only after expiry of the guarantee period, defect liability period, and a claim period of one month.
The work executed by the contractor will be guaranteed for a period of twelve months from the date of delivery or twelve months from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier.
The bidder with the lowest valid rate (exclusive GST) offer will be normally accepted. However, the tender accepting authority is not bound to do so and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and also reserves the right to split the order, alter the quantity of any or all bidders without assigning any reason whatsoever.
The bidder must have experience of having successfully completed similar nature of job in PSU/joint venture of PSU/govt. department/public limited/reputed private sector company during last seven years in India. The bidders must have experience of having successfully executed similar works during last seven years ending last day of month previous to the one in which the applications are invited should be either of the following: a) three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount Rs. 5,16,**** (GST as applicable) or b) two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount Rs. 6,45,**** (GST as applicable) or c) one similar completed work each costing not less than the amount Rs. 10,32,**** (GST as applicable). Average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than Rs. 3,87,**** (three lakh eighty seven thousand only) during each of the three last consecutive years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year. The net worth of the bidders should be positive for each of the last 03 three preceding financial accounting years.
In case of failure to complete the job within the given time period, necessary liquidated damages will be deducted from the contractor's bill at the rate of 0. 5% per week basis of total L. S. contract value, subject to a maximum of 5% of the L. S. contract value. In case of AMC job, user department has to mention the attendance related penalty.
