The tender is for the lining of water courses and laying of RCC pipes. The last date for bid submission is January 5, 2026, at 09:00 AM. A pre-bid conference will be held on January 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The work completion period is 180 days. Bidders must register online and submit bids electronically. Earnest money and bid document costs must be paid online. The offer remains open for 90 days. A site visit is required. The contractor must provide necessary documents, including income tax clearance, partnership deed, and proof of registration. Security will be deducted from each bill payment. The work will be executed under the supervision of the engineer in charge.
The approximate time for completion of the work will be 180 days as desired by executive engineer cum engineer in charge after the date of issue of work order or acceptance letter to the contractor.
Payments of work done shall be released on receipt of funds from the government of Punjab/realisation of LOC from the concerned treasury and no interest claim will be entertained on delayed payments.
Only those contractors shall be eligible who are registered with Punjab Water Resources, Department/PWRMDC and have deposited the requisite licensing fee.
If the contractor is aggrieved by non payment of contract money in lieu of the work/part of work executed by him or is aggrieved by delay in payment due to him for any reason whatsoever, he will approach the concerned executive engineer who shall refer the matter to the arbitrator appointed under provisions of arbitration act within 15 days from the receipt of such representation.
Before filling this tender the contractor can see the detailed drawings and specifications in the office of the divisional engineer, pwrmdc mohali division, pwrmdc, sas nagar on any working day during working hours and shall visit the site and satisfy himself as to the conditions prevalent there especially regarding accessibility to the site, nature and extent of the ground, working conditions, stacking of materials, installations of tools and plants etc.
