The tender is for the supply and installation of rubber mats at various gymnasiums in A Ward. The bid submission end date is October 27, 2025, up to 4:00 PM, and the bid opening date is October 28, 2025, after 1:00 PM. The work must be completed within 3 months. The entire project should be completed and delivered within three 3 months from the date of award of letter of acceptance hat includes excludes monsoon.
The engineer shall check the contractors statement within 14 days and certify the amount to be paid to the contractor. Payments shall be adjusted for deductions for advance payments, retention, security deposit, other recoveries in terms of the contract and taxes at source, as applicable under the law.
In case of equal rate of lowest bidders l1, sealed bids shall be called from the bidders quoting the same rates i. e. l1. In case of equal rate of lowest bidders is obtained even after re quoting, then the successful bidder will be decided by lottery system by assistant commissioner a ward.
The tenderers in their own name should have satisfactorily executed the work of similar nature as described in para 1. 3 in bmc semi govt. govt. public sector organizations during last seven 7 years ending last day of monthprevious to the one in which bids are invited as a prime contractor. The bidder must submit the certificate of satisfactory completion of work from the user for part i part ii mentioned as above, failing which their offer shall be treated as nonresponsive and their packet b shall not be opened.
If the contractor fails to complete the works and clear the site on or before the contract or extended dates periods of completion, he shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy of municipal corporation on account of such breach, pay as agreed compensation, amount calculated as stipulated below or such smaller amount as may be fixed by the engineer on the contract value of the whole work or on the contract value of the time or group of items of work for which separate period of completion are given in the contract and of which completion is delayed for every week that the whole of the work of item or group of items of work concerned remains uncompleted, even though the contract as a whole be completed by the contract or the extended date of completion.
The contractor shall inspect and examine the site and its surrounding and shall satisfy himself before submitting his tender as to the nature of the work so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the quantities and nature of the work and materialsequipmentvehicles necessary for the completion of the works and means of access to the site, and in general shall himself obtain all necessary information as to risk, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect his tender.
