The contract period is one year, from 2025 to 2026, with the possibility of extension. The tenderer must have a minimum of 2-3 vehicles per block. The rates for lifting and transportation, including loading and unloading, should be quoted in the tender inclusive of all charges. The tenderer must carry a weighing balance during distribution. The tenderer must submit the receipt of food items to the concerned DPO WCD, duly signed by the concerned Anganwadi workers and countersigned by the WCD PO concerned. Payment will be made immediately after satisfactory transportation of food items. The successful tenderer must furnish security money @10% of the total cost for the transportation and handling work within 72 hours of the acceptance of his tender. The tenderer must submit attested copies of partnership deed and power of attorney with the technical bid. After a final decision about the tender is taken, the successful tenderer shall produce original partnership deed and power of attorney within 3 days of the acceptance of tender. The tenderer will be liable for all costs, damages, charges and expenses suffered or incurred by ICDS due to the contractor's negligence and unworkmanship. The contractor shall be responsible for the safety of the goods from the time they are loaded on their trucks until they have been unloaded at the Anganwadi Centers. The contractor will be charged a penalty for delay in lifting and transportation.
