The bid is for the repair, renovation, and maintenance of the JE Sewer Store in R. K. Puram. The opening date for bids is January 7, 2026. The contractor must adhere to safety guidelines and labor laws, including providing safety equipment and complying with the NHRC guidelines. The contractor must comply with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, ****. The contractor must comply with the provisions of the payment of wages act, ****, minimum wages act, ****, employees liability act, ****, workmens compensation act, ****, industrial disputes act, ****, maternity benefit its act, ****, factories act, **** and the contractors labour regulation and abolition act ****, or the modifications thereof or any other laws relating thereto and the rules made there under from time to time. The contractor must submit by the 4th and 19th of every month, to the engineering charge a truestatement showing in respect of the second half of the preceding month and the first half of the current month respectively: i the number of labourers employed by him on the work, ii their working hours, iii the wages paid to them, iv the accidents that occurred during the said fortnight showing the circumstances under which they happened and the extent of damage and injury caused by them, and v the number of female workers who have been allowed maternity benefit according to clause 17. 9 and the amount paid to them. Failing which the contractor shall be liable to pay to employer a sum not exceeding **** for each default or materially incorrect statement. The decision of divisional officer shall be final in deducting from any bill due to the contract the amount levied as fine and be binding on the contractor. The contractor shall submit completion plan, as built drawings and om operation and maintenance manuals, gis details as required and as applicable within 30 thirty days of the completion of the work. In case, the works involves creation of software, the source code and other user manual shall also be submitted by the contractor. In case, the contractor fails to submit the completion plan as aforesaid, he shall be liable to pay a minimum sum equivalent to 2. 5 of the contract price or as may be fixed by the engineerincharge concerned and in this respect the decision of the engineerincharge shall be final and binding on the contractor. If he fails to do so, his failure will be a breach of the contract and the engineerincharge may, in his discretion, cancel the contract.
