The tender is for the improvement of streets and side drains in the Najafgarh extension. The work includes various construction activities such as excavation, brickwork, plastering, and laying of concrete. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 36,581,065. The last date for submission of bids is February 21, 2026, at 15:00 hours, and the bids will be opened on the same day at 15:05 hours. The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 270 days. The contractor is required to furnish a performance guarantee of 5% of the tendered amount. The site for the work is available. Tenders can be downloaded and submitted online through the e-procurement portal. The earnest money deposit is 2% of the tendered amount. The contractor must comply with all labor laws and regulations. The work will be subject to inspections by departmental officers and a third-party quality assurance team. The agency must submit photographs and videography of the work at different stages. The contractor must engage a site engineer and ensure proper execution of the work. The contractor is responsible for any accidents or damages during the execution of the work. The contractor must use CD recycled products. The ifc department is not the landowning agency. The budget is to be released by the ud department. The agency shall take all the measures during executing of work on contribution to the air/water/garbage pollution contributes from the working site. The contractor must provide ESI and EPF registration. The contractor must follow the guidelines of the Hon'ble NGT.
The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 270 days from the 15th day after the date of written orders to commence the work or from the 1st day of handing over the site, whichever is later, in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicated in the tender documents.
All the executed work under this agreement shall have free maintenance perioddefect liability period for 5 years from the date of completion of project.
The participating contractors should upload self attested copies of the following documents through eprocurement portal: i. copy of gst registration. ii. registration of enlistment in the appropriate class. iii. scanned copy of emd along with scanned copy of receipt of deposition of emd iv. scanned copy of e. s. i and e. p. f registration. v. copy of pan no. vi. valid mobile number with whatsapp number email id. vii. all the requisite documents must be selfattested before uploading.
In case the contractor fails to start the work by the date of 1st milestone without any valid and justified reason duly approved by the competent authority, the w0ork shall be rescinded immediately without issuing any notice.
Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender.
Samples of various materials required for testing shall be provided free of charge by the contractor.
The work is estimated to cost Rs. 3, 65, 81, 065.
