The tender is for snow clearance on a percentage rate basis for a contract period of one year, extendable to three years based on performance. The contractor will be required to maintain the following types of insurance throughout the life of the contract. The executive engineer is responsible for general administration of the contract. The contractor shall maintain books, records, documents and other evidence directly pertinent to performance under the contract. The age rate quoted by the bidder shall be inclusive of market price variation and all taxes up to completion of the stage contract. The date of start of the work shall be reckoned within three days from the date of issuance of loicontract allotment as the case may be. The contract shall be covered by procedure stated in the jk conciliation and arbitration act. The contractor shall be responsible for safety of men and machinery and also any third party injuries in performance of this contract. The tender bid is liable to rejection if it does not fulfill the requirements as laid down in nit.
