The Department of Forests and Wildlife, Chandigarh Administration, is inviting e-tenders for the execution of works and services for enrichment plantation against high-density plantation of lake beat. Earnest money (2% of the total value) and security money (3% of the total value) are required. The bid notice states he bidder must have successfully executedcompleted similar services over the last three years ending 31st march. bidder to upload relevant documents as part of bid submission, department will verify the document submitted by bidder. the bidder has to satisfy any one of the following conditions. i similar completed works costing not less than the amount 80 of the estimated cost for last one year or ii similar completed works costing not less than the amount 50 of the estimated cost for last two years or iii similar completed works costing not less than the amount 40 of the estimated cost for last three years. experience in execution of following forestry works during the last two years in similar terrain topographyplease attach certificate issued by the officer not below the rank of range officer. i plantation works which includes establishment of forest nurseries, collection of quality seeds, saplings, plantation various silvicultural works for the maintenance of plants and patchsowing work in similar terrain topography during the last two years. or ii soil moisture conservation works which includes construction of silt retention dams, check dams, spurs, revetment, grade stabilizers, etc. in the similar forest area during last two years. experience certificate from the competent authority, not below the rank of forest range officer regarding execution of various forestry plantation soil moisture conservation works, etc. for the last two years in similar terrain topography. the self attested copy of work ordersanction ordercompletion certificate for similar works of any government department.
The bid notice states in case, work is not satisfactory and fails to meet the time line, the firm may be blacklisted and security amount shall be forfeited and suitable legal action will also be taken accordingly. subletting of allotted work will not be permitted. the earnest money shall be forfeited if the tenderer withdraws or modifies his offer within the validity period or fails to sign the formal contract agreement within stipulated period after award of work order or fails to commence the work within seven days of signing of agrement. after the forfeiture of earnest money, the contract shall be immediately nullified.
