The tender is for the one year maintenance and repairs of a road in the chandrapur district. The work includes clearing, tree cutting, applying tack coat, constructing a modified penetration macadam road surface, laying and compacting stone aggregates, providing open graded premix surfacing, supplying hard murum, excavating for gutters, road marking, installing delineators, and other related tasks. The tender is open to registered labour cooperative societies of chandrapur district only. The contractor must adhere to morth specifications and provide various materials and services. The bid requires online submission and includes provisions for quality control, testing, and adherence to safety regulations. The contractor must also provide a field laboratory and comply with labor laws. The offer shall remain open for acceptance for a minimum period of 60 days from the date of opening of envelope no. 2 financial bid.
The work is to be completed within the time limit as specified in the n. i. t. which shall be reckoned from the date of written order for commencing the work and shall be inclusive of monsoon period.
Two running payments in the month are permitted. first of the bills shall be submitted by the contractor by the 10th day of month. second bill, if necessary, shall be submitted by the 25 th day of the month.
The defect liability period if for pot hole filled by bituminous means will be for one year. if in defect liability period any pot hole emerges at the same place, then it is obligatory for the contractor to fill the same at his own cost and for such work, no payment will be made.
The acceptance of tender will rest with the executive engineer, public works division no. ii, chandrapur who reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason therefore.
The bids will be opened as per the etender schedule, in the presence of such intending bidders or his their authorized representatives who shall be present at that time.
The contractor shall pay as compensation an amount equal to one percent, or such smaller amounts as the superintending engineer whose decision in writing shall be final may decide of the said estimated cost of the whole work for every day that the due quantity of work remains incomplete.
The contractor shall be deemed to have carefully examined the work and site conditions including labours, the general and the special conditions, the specification schedule and drawing and shall be deemed to have visited the site of the work and to have fully informed himself regarding the local conditions and carried out his own investigations to arrive at the rates quoted in the tender.
All materials to be used on work, such as cement, steel, stones, bricks, aggregates, asphalt, wood, tiles, etc. shall be got approved in advance from the engineerincharge and shall pass the tests and analysis required by him.
The offer shall remain open for acceptance for minimum period of 60 days from the date of opening of envelope no. 2 financial bid and thereafter until it is withdrawn by the contractor by notice in writing duly addressed to the authority opening the tender and sent by registered post acknowledgment due.
