The tender is for the construction of flood protection work. Bidders must submit online bids in a two-cover system. The technical cover requires registration card, PAN card, GST registration, tender fees, and EMD. The financial bid (BOQ) will only be opened for those who qualify in the technical cover. The employer shall give the contractor not less than 24 hours notice of the employers intention to attend the tests. If the employer does not attend at the time and place agreed, the contractor may proceed with the tests, unless otherwise instructed by the employer, and the tests shall then be deemed to have been made in the employers presence. The contractors shall promptly forward to the employer duly certified reports of the tests. When the specified tests have been passed, the employer shall endorse the contractors test certificate, or issue a certificate to him, to that effect. If the employer has not attended the tests he shall be deemed to have accepted the readings as accurate. The contractor shall pay all royalties, rents and other payment for: a natural materials obtained from source of mineralmining andb the disposal of material from demolitions and excavations and of other surplus material whether natural or manmade, except to the extended that disposal areas within the site are specified in the contract. When the takingover certificate has been issued for the works, and the works have passed all specified tests including the tests after completion, if any the retention money shall be paid to the contractor. The contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the employers personnel, and their respective agents, against and from all claims, damages, losses and expenses illegal fees and expenses in respect of : a bodily injury, sickness, disease or death, of any person whatsoever arising out of or in the course of or by reason of the design, execution and completion of the works and the remedying of any defect, unless attributable to any negligence, willful act of breach of the contract by the employer, the employers personnel, or any of their respective agents, andb damage to or loss of any property, real or personal other than the works, to the extent that such damage or loss: i arise out of or in the course of or by reason of the design, execution and completion of the works and the remedying of any defect, andii is not attributable to any negligence, willful act or breach of the contract by the employer, the employers personnel, their respective agents, or anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them. The employer shall indemnify and hold harmless the contractor, the contractors personnel, and their respective agents, again stand from all claims, damages, losses and expenses including legal fees and expenses in respect of: 1 bodily injury, sickness, disease or death, which is attributable to any negligence, willful act or breach of the contract by the employer, the employers personnel, of any of their respective agents,
The successful bidder will be expected to complete the works within the date as specified in the bid document.
Deposit @10 from each payment shall be deducted from all the running bills of contractors and the same shall be refundedrelease after successful period of defect liability of 12 months from the date of completion of work.
A defect liability period of 12 months shall be reckoned from the date of completion of work certified by the aee incharge. The contractor shall be responsible for any defect at his own expenses which may occur or may be noticed within 12 months after date of completion.
The employer will award the contract to the bidder whose bid has been determined to be substantially responsive to the bidding documents and who has offered the lowest evaluated bid price.
The pre qualification criteria shall consist of the following: tenders to be submitted online in two cover systems. a cover 1st technical cover cover ist shall contain: 1. scanned copy of registration card of the contractor duly renewed for the current financial year **** or above. 2. scanned copy of pan card. 3. scanned copy of gst registration certificate and latest gst return. if the bidder have opted for qrmp quarterly return filing and monthly payment of taxes scheme under gst then gstr3b for quarterly april to june 2025 or onwards to be uploaded if the bidder have opted for monthly basis then gstr3b for the month of august2025 or onwards to be uploaded. 4. scanned copy of tender fees in the shape of treasury challan non refundable. 5. scanned copy of emd in the shape of cdrfdr. 6. information as per annexurea scanned copy.
Penalty upto 10 shall be imposed upon the agency, if any delay in completion of the work beyond the period stipulated in the enit without any justification.
The bidders shall have to deposit earnest money @2 of the advertised cost of the tender in the shape of cdrfdr alongwith the technical bid documents and the emd of successful bidder shall be released after receipt of performance security of 3 additional performance security if applicable.
