This is a short-term bidding document for the design, supply, fabrication, painting, and extension of the body of a newly purchased mini tipper for the Municipal Committee Kargil. In case of disputes, the matter will be referred to the Chief Engineer Med Ladakh for arbitration. Penalties may be imposed for delays, and the contract can be terminated. The department reserves the right to cancel the purchase order in case of default. All materials must comply with specified tests and standards. The bid validity period is 180 days.
The completion period of the contract shall be 5 five days from the date of issuance of allotment order.
All payments to the contractor for fulfilling the contract will be made in accordance with the unit rates of price schedule. All payments will be made in Indian currency and will be subject to Indian income taxes. 100% payment of the contract value shall be paid against completion of equipments in full after proper verification by concerned asstt. ex. engineer.
The bidders shall be responsible for free replacement of free of cost, including transportation and insurance expenses, to the purchaser up to destination supply as a whole or any part of supply which under normal proper use may prove defective in material or workmanship and not conforming to the relevant specifications, immediately not later than 30 days from the date of receipt of such information from the consignee.

In the event of the successful bidder failing, declining, neglecting or delaying the execution of work and allied accessories or in the event of any damage occurring are being caused by the successful bidder or in the event of any default or failure by the successful bidder in complying with any of the terms and conditions of the contract, the government shall, with or without, prejudice to any other remedy available to it under any law for the time being in force in the state: terminate the contract after 30 thirty days notice and or recover the amount of loss caused by damages failure or default as may be determined by the government and or. impose a penalty for the delay in work of the equipment up to a maximum limit of 10% of the value of contract besides forfeiture of security deposit and recourse to other remedies under the law in force in addition to other remedy which may be deemed fit.
