The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Kerala, invites online bids for the supply of sports and lab equipment under the Khelo India Scheme at G V Raja Sports School. The last date for bid submission is ****, and the technical bid opening is on **** must submit a bid submission fee and an earnest money deposit. Bidders are required to submit document fee and earnest money deposit. The technical bid evaluation is based on the quality and brand of the items submitted as samples. The contract includes a 12-month warranty. The contract price quoted by the bidders should include all costs associated with the supply and installation. The successful bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee. The contract will be governed by the laws of India. The Directorate reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
The period of completion is 45 days, as stated in the bid notice.
On delivery, installation, inspection and acceptance 100 of the total contract value after inspection and acceptance, after all items have been supplied, as stated in the bid notice.
All the sports equipment supplied excluding consumable items by the selected agency shall be guaranteed for satisfactory performance for a period of 12 months from the date of successful installation, as stated in the bid notice.
The agency with the lowest financial quote L1 for each item shall be considered as a L1 bidder, and shall be selected as the successful bidder, as stated in the bid notice.
The bidder must be a reputed manufacturer distributor/dealer/firms/organizations for the supply of sports equipments preferably having prior experience of having manufactured supply of similar items, as stated in the bid notice.
If the successful bidder fails to deliver the equipment within the timelines, as specified in this document or as explicitly modified in the contract, due to reasons attributable to the successful bidder, directorate of sports and youth affairs at its discretion shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract value, as liquidated damages, a sum equivalent to one percent 1 of the total contract price for each week of delay until actual delivery or performance, up to a maximum deduction of ten percent 10, as stated in the bid notice.
The bidder shall submit a sample of each of the items for which he has bid, before the technical committee of the directorate of sports and youth affairs, as stated in the bid notice.
