The notice states that the date of receipt of offer for inspection of the materials equipment along with works test certificate will be treated as the date of delivery of that particular lot provided the materials pass in inspection and testing.

Payment on submission of bill after completion of delivery would be made by concerned authority. Bill along with signed challan s to be submitted in triplicate mentioning in each the gst registration number and hsn sac code alongwith the items to the divisional manager, bidhannagarii division for payment by the assistant manager fa, bidhannagarii division in due course.

The term defect liability period shall mean the period of 12 twelve months from the date of completion of the delivery.

The notice states that the bids shall be evaluated on the basis of total price for the entire scope of work covered under this bid document.

The eligibility criteria for participation in the tender includes bonafide, experienced resourceful contractors of govt. , semi govt. , govt. undertaking organizations, govt. enterprises etc. who have successfully delivered similar materials.

If the tenderer withdraws the bid before the period of bid validity without giving any satisfactory explanation for such withdrawals, the earnest money as deposited will be forfeited forthwith without assigning any reason thereof.

The entire work must be completed within 45 days from the date of issuance of the formal purchase order.

Payment will be made against running account bills submitted to the engineer-in-charge. Maximum three bills are allowed, each not less than 20% of the ordered value, supported by a measurement book certified by the site engineer and supervising officer. A statement showing material consumption should also be submitted with the final bill. Running account bills will be paid within 30 days from the submission date, and the final bill will be paid within 30 days from submission in quadruplicate, along with the completion certificate, measurement book, store transaction papers, and guarantee certificate for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of officially taking of the installation by WBSECL, whichever is earlier.

The warranty period is one year.

The bids will be evaluated on the basis of total amounts for the entire scope of work. The lowest evaluated bid will be selected, provided it satisfies all requirements.

All categories of intending bidders who have satisfactorily completed at least one similar nature of installation work electrical installation work under the authority of WBSECL, WBSECL, or WBPDCL of executed value not less than 50% of estimated cost in a single contract during last 3 three years. Copy of formal order L. O. A of similar nature of work I. F. O the contractor/agency, accordingly copy of completion and payment certificate, and detail communication address along with contact number of the client should be submitted by the bidder. Completion certificate from the concerned divisional engineer/manager or equivalent rank and above will be treated as valid credential.

If the contractor fails to complete the work within the specified time, the company shall recover liquidated damages of half percent (0. 5%) of the contract value for each calendar week of delay or part thereof, subject to force majeure. The total recovery against liquidated damage shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the contract value of the work. An extension of time without imposition of liquidated damage, may be granted for delay in execution of work provided there is no fault whatsoever on the part of the contractor. Such extension may only be granted on the basis of application to be submitted by the contractor who has to establish that the extension of time required by him was not due to his fault.

The bidder is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid and entering into a contract for the work.

The estimated cost is Rs. 4,09,725.

Bidders must be bonafide, experienced resourceful contractors of govt. , semi govt. , govt. undertaking organizations, govt. enterprises etc. who have successfully completed 1 no. similar nature of work having value not less than 80 eighty percent of the estimated cost in a single contract or 2 no. similar nature of work having value not less than 50 fifty percent of the estimated cost in 2 contract or 3 no. similar nature of work having value not less than 40 forty percent of the estimated cost in 3 contract during last 7 seven years. All intending bidders are required to produce valid copies of professional tax pt clearance certificate along with pan card it return as well as epf , esi , gst registration certificate including hsn and sac code certificate of compliance of statutory obligations to be documented through efiling.

If the tenderer withdraws the bid before the period of bid validity without giving any satisfactory explanation for such withdrawals, the earnest money as deposited will be forfeited forthwith without assigning any reason thereof. Failure to observe the safety rules will make the contractor liable to penalty by way of suspension of work and termination of contract.

The bidder, at his own responsibility and risk, is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtained all information that may be necessary for preparing bid and entering into an agreement for the work works as mentioned in the nit, before submitting offer with full satisfaction. The costs for visiting the working site shall be at the bidder own expense.

The estimated cost is INR 14,56,738.
