The Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) is inviting bids for the emergent repair of a prefab structure. Bidders must be registered contractors with CPWD, Railways, MES, or civil wing of BSNL, MCD, DDA, NDMC, Delhi Jal Board, or I&FC Deptt. The tender is a two-envelope system with a percentage rate. Bids must be submitted through the Delhi Govt. e-Procurement System. The estimated cost is approximately ?5,01,792. 00. The last date for bid submission is November 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The work must be completed within 60 days. Bidders must provide an earnest money deposit of ?10,050. 00. The bid validity is 75 days from the technical bid opening date. The financial bid will be opened for qualified bidders. The lowest tenderer must verify scanned documents within one week of the financial bid opening. The contractor must furnish a performance guarantee of 5% of the tendered amount. The work will be inspected by the QC unit of DUSIB. The contractor must provide samples of building materials for approval. The contractor is responsible for safety and must adhere to safety regulations. The contractor must provide a bar chart for completion of work within the stipulated period. The department will deduct income tax and labor cess from each bill. The contractor must ensure the work is of good quality and in accordance with the specifications. The contractor must clear the site after completion of the work. The final bill must be submitted within three months of physical completion. The contractor must comply with all labor laws. The contractor must provide a certificate of employment of the technical representatives in the form of copy of form 16 or cpf deduction issued to the engineers employed by him along with every on account bill final bill and shall produce evidence if at anytime so required by the engineer in charge.
The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 60 days from the date of start as defined in schedule f or from the first date of handing over of the site, whichever is later, in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicted in the tender documents.
The payment of the monthly running account bill for the work is normally released within a month from the date of acceptance of the bill recorded in the measurement book and the demand sent against the passed bill.
The competent authority on behalf of ceo, dusib does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender bid and reserves to itself the authority to reject any or all the tenders bids received without assignment of any reason.
Biddersfirms who fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply. Eligibility bidenvelope 1 financial bid envelope 2 shall be uploaded by the biddersimultaneously.
If the contractor fails to maintain the required progress in terms of clause 5 or to complete the work and clear the site on or before the contract or justified extended date of completion asper clause 5 excluding any extension under clause5. 5 as well as any extension granted under clauses 12 and15, he shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available under the law to the dusib on account of such breach, pay as agreed compensation the amount calculated at the rates stipulated below as the authority specified in schedule f may decide on the amount of tendered value of the work for every completed day month as determined that the progress remains below that specified in clause 5 or that the work remains incomplete.
Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstance which may influence or affect their tender.
Sample of building material, door window fitting, sanitary wares and other articles required for completion of work shall be got approved from engineerincharge before their use in work.
The work is estimated to cost rs. 5, 01, 792 this estimate, however, is given merely as a rough guide.
