The bid notice states The time allowed for completion of the work will be 60 days after the date of issue of letter of intent or allotment letter to the firm whichever is earlier.

The bidder should have valid registration for civil works with any of the mentioned organizations: CPWD, MES, PWD/BR or irrigation, Punjab, PSPCL/PSTCL or with any other govt. public sector organization on the date of opening of tender. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar civil works during the last 7 years ending last day of month previous to the one in which applications are invited which should be either of the following a three civil works of not less than rs 0. 74 lakh each or b two civil works of not less than rs. 0. 99 lakh each or c one civil work of not less than rs 1. 73 lakh similar work means construction of 66kv and above substation buildingswitchyard work including rcc work and concrete foundations in support of fulfilment of the past experience criteria, the bidder shall furnish satisfactory performance certificate not below the rank of executive engineer of power utility in the name of the bidder. The bidder should provide bankers certificate of rs. 0. 74 lakh. The solvency certificate should not be older than one year from the date of opening of tender and itr of the last three years ending 31st march of previous financial year. Minimum average annual turnover maat for best three years out of last five financial years should be at least rs. 0. 74 lakh ca certificate with udin no. should be mentioned. The bidder should have positive net worth/net profit and bidder must have liquid assets la and or evidence of access to or availability of fundbased credit facilities of not less than rs 0. 25 lakh. The bidder should have valid epf registration no. , gst registration certificate and pan no.

The contractor shall pay as penalty an amount equal to one half percent 0. 50 of the estimated cost of the whole work as shown in the contract for every week on the work remains unfinished after the contract completion period , provided always that the entire amount of compensation to be paid under the provisions of this clause shall not exceed 10 ten percent of the estimated or actual cost of work whichever is higher.

Before filling the tender, the site shall be visited by the representative of the firm and satisfy itself as to the conditions prevalent there especially regarding accessibility to the site, nature and extent of the ground, working conditions, stacking of materials, installation of tools and plants etc. accommodation and movement of labour, supply of water and power for satisfactory completion of the works contract.

The contractor shall submit all bills on the printed forms to be had on application at the office of the engineerin charge and the charges in the bills shall always be entered at the rates specified in the tender or in the case of any extra work ordered in pursuance of these conditions and not mentioned or provided for in the tender at the rates herein after provided for such works.
