The tender is for providing and fixing 20 boom barriers. Bids must be submitted online by 15:00 hours on 23/10/2025. The work duration is 60 days. An EMD of 2% of the tendered amount (Rs. 26,863) is required. The performance guarantee is 5% of the tendered amount. The site is available. The contractor must comply with all labor laws. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be treated as market rates. The contractor shall furnish ESI EPF registration. The contractor shall provide a certificate from the area MLA relating to satisfactory work after completion of work. The work shall be inspected by a third party appointed by the department at the time of execution of work and also 70% completion of work.
The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 60 days from the 15 days after the date of written orders to commence the work or from the 1st day of handing over the site, whichever is later, in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicated in the tender documents.
The defect liability period for agency is one year taken from the date of completion.
The competent authority on behalf of president of india does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender and reserves to itself the authority to reject any or all of the tenders received without the assignment of any reason.
The enlistment of the contractor should be valid on the last date of submission of bids.
In case the 1stlowest contractor fails to deposit the said performance guarantee within the period as indicated in schedule f including the extended period if any, the earnest money deposited by the contractor shall be forfeited automatically without any notice to the contractor.
Tenderers are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their tenders as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their tender.
If asked by the authority, bidder must submit the sample of product.
The work is estimated to cost Rs. 13, 43, 152.
