The bidder will quote rates for supplying of flowers and their maintenance by way of sowing, periodical de-weeding, watering and maneuvering. If any plant, flowering tree fails during the time of contract, it will be the responsibility of the contractor and he will have to replace it with a new plant/flower or tree. The bidder will be responsible for the maintenance of the green area by way of watering, grass cutting as and when required, maneuvering, removing of unwanted grass, weed set cand cleaning so as to keep it lush green for which he will put skilled gardener (no. as per the requirement at site) and as directed by the engineer/in-charge manager. The bidder will visit the site before quoting for this particular item to access the area to be maintained. The landscape has to be maintained in such a way so as to keep it green and leveled throughout the period of contract. The contractor has to make arrangement for water and electricity to be used for the maintenance of the ground/field at his own cost. If it is found or reported by in-charge manager or concerned JE that ground is not being maintained as per the desired condition the contract will be terminated without giving any reasons justification and penalty. If the contractor fails to fulfill the duties as mentioned in the bidding document. penalty clause will be imposed on the contractor. The DLP shall be calculated from the date of certified completion of work and period shall be 18 months. All other terms and conditions are as per pwd form 25 (double leaf form).
