Hard copies of original documents, along with bid security declaration and CDR (2% of tender value), must be submitted by the L1 bidder to the office of the executive engineer, mechanical and hospital division, rajouri. The technical bid must include the cost of tender document in the form of a challan, along with other required documents (PAN card, latest ITR, GST registration, experience certificate, etc. ). The bidding process is online, with technical bids opened online and financial bids opened online for qualifying participants. Bids must remain valid for 180 days from the opening date. The department may extend the deadline for submission of bids. The contractor shall commence work within 2 days of the work order. Payment will be 90% upon completion of work, and 10% held as a deposit until the warranty period is completed. The contractor is responsible for watch and ward of equipment/materials at the site. The overall job is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of completion of work. Bidders are requested to visit the site to get acquainted with the nature and quantum of the job. The tenderer should inspect the site of the proposed work and fully acquaint him with the working conditions before quoting their rates. The rates quoted shall be for site, which will include the cost of transportation of materials to the site, storage at site, all handling at site and incidental expenses, all taxes such as gst, entry tax, toll tax at lakhanpur and octroi etc. and the fixing in position for which the items of work is intended to be operated. The acceptance approval of the tender will rest with the executive engineer mechanical and hospital division, rajouri who does not bind himself to accept the lowest tender and reserves to himself the authority to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reasons. Conditional tenders shall be out rightly rejected. The executive engineer mechanical and hospital division, rajouri also reserves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tenders received and the renderers shall be bound to perform the same at the quoted rates. The department reserves the right to cancel the order in case of fault on the part of the contracting agency and also prior to the receipt of the intimation regarding taking in hand execution of work against the order. No claim whatsoever, shall be tenable against the department on this account.
