E-tender for pruning of avenue/shade trees at TNPL unit-I. Tender reference number: tnpl/tos/u1/252613002928. Start date: 23/07/2025. End date for online submission of tender: 04/08/2025 15:00 hrs. Tender fee: Rs. 5,500/-. EMD (tenderer shall pay through online): Rs. 5,500/-. Bidders must have experience in carrying out similar type of work or providing skilled/unskilled manpower in any industry. Reference documents towards experience must be submitted along with price bid. Solvency certificate (value 5 lakh) required from revenue department with current EC (or) solvency certificate (value 5 lakh) received from the bank within a year from the tender due date. Tenderers are advised to visit the site and discuss with engineer-in-charge to assess the quantum and nature of work before submitting their offer. The rate shall be valid for a period of four (4) months from the date of award of the contract. 100% payment shall be made after completion of work each time and submission of duly certified bills within 15 days from the date of preparation of bill certification upon service receipt. Additional security deposit (ASD) will be calculated and recovered from the first running bill of the successful tenderer so that EMD + ASD equals to 2. 5% of total purchase order value. Tenderer shall quote their rate after thoroughly assessing the quantum/nature of work. Unit rate must be filled compulsorily, failing which tender will be rejected. TNPL reserves the right to split the quantum/items of work and award the contract to one or more tenderers. TNPL reserves the right to waive any tender condition at its own discretion. TNPL is not bound to accept the lowest quotation and also reserves the right to reject the lowest quotation or any quotation at its own discretion. TNPL reserves the rights to post qualify the tender received and reject any or all the tender in part or in full without assigning any reasons therefore. If the value of award of contract is more than 2. 00 lakh, then EMD/SD shall be applicable at the approximate rate of 2. 5% of PO value. Tenderers who had worked for TNPL and whose performance was bad/unsatisfactory/blacklisted within three (3) years will not be considered. Negotiation will be conducted with technically and commercially acceptable lowest bidder. In case the lowest negotiated rates appear to be reasonable taking into account the prevailing market conditions, the orders may be awarded to the lowest bidder. If the rate of the lowest bidder after negotiation is still considered high, the tender shall be cancelled. Bidders must have experience in carrying out similar type of work or providing skilled/unskilled manpower in any industry. The contract shall be issued for the period of four (4) months wherein the work shall be taken up as and when throughout the year in a staggered manner. Any works to be carried out immediately during odd hours/any breakdown after intimation based on exigencies of work. Tenderer shall comply with all labour rules and regulations enclosed as annexure-iv & iva with respect to deployment of labour from time to time regarding wages, employer's provident fund and other statutory regulations. All expenditures against such requirements shall be borne by tenderer. The contract shall be deemed to have been entered into at Kagithapuram, Karur DT and the courts at Karur shall be the forum for legal proceedings, if any, connected with this contract.
