The work should be completed within the stipulated period. For cogent reasons beyond the contractor's control, an extension of time may be granted, and the contract validity will be automatically extended.

Payments will be released to the contractor on receipt of the same from the concerned ordering authority, on a back-to-back basis. Geotagged photos should be attached with other documents at the time of submission of bills.

The maintenance period of the work will be for 1-3-5 years. During this period, the contractor shall rectify all defects that appear to the satisfaction of the corporation.

The tender inviting and accepting authority will determine the eligibility of each bidder based on financial capacity and experience/credentials. The bidder whose bid has been accepted will be notified through an acceptance letter.

Bidders must be resourceful bonafide contractors of government public sector undertakings or registered labour cooperative societies with relevant credentials in the last 5 years. They must also meet minimum criteria regarding financial capacity and experience.

Failure to execute an agreement within the stipulated time after receiving the work order will result in a penalty charge of 0. 5% to 1% of the work order value. If the tender fails to complete the work within the specified time or any granted extension, the tenderer may be debarred from participating in future tenders for three financial years.

The bidder, at their own responsibility and risk, is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings before submitting their offer. The cost of visiting the site shall be at their own expense.

Samples of all materials to be supplied and used in the work shall have to be approved by the engineer-in-charge. The agency will use reputed brands approved by the engineer-in-charge before use.

Any objection regarding pre-qualifying the agency should be lodged online to the tender inviting authority within 2 days from the date of publication of the list of qualified agencies.

If any document submitted is found to be manufactured or false, the work order will not be issued or will be cancelled. Failure to submit required documents or provide clarifications within the stipulated time may lead to rejection of the bid.
