The period of contract is 21 days from the date of handing over of site.

95% payment will be made within 90 days after satisfactory completion of entire work and submission of bills. 5% will be retained as retention amount and will be paid after the completion of guarantee period.

The guarantee period for the above work is 6 six months from the date of completion of work. Any defects noticed in workmanship during the guarantee period, the same should be rectified at free of cost.

This being a works contract, the L1 tenderer will be decided for the total contract value, not for the individual items.

The bidder should have experience in carrying out overhauling repair and maintenance works in HP 803 XRP 763 bowl mills in 200 MW or above unit capacity thermal power stations of TANGEDCO, TNPGCL, TNEB, PSU, OSEBS, Govt. organization, Govt. undertakings within the last ten years from the date of tender opening for a value more than Rs. 2,19,600 in a single order.

If the contractor fail in the due performance of his contract within the time fixed to the contractor or any extension thereof, the contractor is liable at the discretion of the exe. engineer concerned to the levy of liquidated damages for delay at half percent 0. 5 of the contract price of the undelivered/in completed items for each calendar week of delay and total shall not exceed maximum of 10 of the contract value.

Every tenderers is expected to inspect the site before quoting his rates.

Any clarification in the tender shall sought from be sought before 48 hrs. of due date and time, through email.

The work must be completed within 3 months. ime limit 3 months

The contract will be awarded to the bidder who has offered the lowest evaluated bid price. he employer will award the contract to the bidder whose bid has been determined: ito be substantially responsive to the bidding documents and who has offered the lowest evaluated bid price

In the event of failure on part of the contractor to achieve timely completion of the project, he shall pay liquidated damages. in the event of failure on part of the contractor to achieve timely completion of the project, including any extension of time granted under clause 27, he shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available under the law to the employer on account of such breach, pay as agreed liquidated damages to the employer and not by way of penalty in a sum calculated at the rate per day or part thereof as stated in the contract data.

The bidder is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works. he bidder, at the bidders own responsibility and risk is encouraged to visit and examine the site of works and its surroundings and obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing the bid and entering into a contract for construction of the works.

The competent authority on behalf of the president of India does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves to itself the authority to reject any or all the bids received without the assignment of any reason.

The enlistment of the contractors should be valid on the last date of submission of bids. In case the last date of submission of bid is extended, the enlistment of contractor should be valid on the original date of submission of bids. Contractors enlisted in MES, BSNL, other state government departments dealing with building and roads, who fulfil and upload the following criteria in addition to above mentioned in para 1 b, c, d, e, f shall also be eligible to apply.

Intending bidders are advised to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings and satisfy themselves before submitting their bids as to the nature of the ground and subsoil so far as is practicable, the form and nature of the site, the means of access to the site, the accommodation they may require and in general shall themselves obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.

The work is estimated to cost Rs. 2,47,622.
